Start on one floating island. As the city grows, buy the next: a beach lagoon, a pine forest, windswept highlands, glowing crystal spires, even a live volcano. Every new game, the sky is laid out differently.

  • Sky bridges, cable cars and airships link the islands into one city.
  • Each island makes its own goods, and your grandest buildings need them.
  • Wonders rise stage by stage and lift every street around them.

A floating city has enemies. You'll see them coming, and you'll have to choose: pay up, prepare, or gamble.

  • Storm fronts darken the sky over an island for weeks before they strike. Brace it, insure it, or hope.
  • Sky pirates sail for unwatched islands. Pay tribute, hire the Sky Guard, or fight.
  • Baron Vane, a rival tycoon, snaps up islands you leave unbought and bids against you at the bank's auctions.
  • The sky serpent hunts dark islands by night. Only light keeps it away.
